Welcome to the Green Family Farm!
Since moving from Toronto, over 30 years ago, we’ve lived on our farm in the beautiful Northumberland Hills. Don’t get me wrong! I’m not a city boy, I grew up on a farm north of where we live now—my dad’s a veterinarian!
My wife, Colleen, and I have four children—a son, Conor; and girls Fiona, Darragh, and Siobhan. You may have noticed the horse in our logo. As well as a stable of Percheron horses that we use for horse logging in the winter, I run a construction business that mainly specializes in the renovation and restoration of vintage homes. (more about that here) We also do lumber milling and cabinetry in our wood shop.
Conor and Siobhan are actively involved in the free-range business with Conor looking after the beef cattle and Siobhan the chickens. But of course this is a family business so Colleen and I are also pretty busy with it too!
This is a new venture for us and we aim to make it a big success. We expect our products to be ready for you by late August but get your orders for chicken and beef in now as the supply will be limited.
